Who we are
This website, q8block.com, is run by Kuwait Block, trading as Q8 block, based in Al Ahmadi Governorate, Mangaf, Kuwait. The office address and phone number are on the contact page.
What data we receive
The website has no forms and no accounts. We receive what you choose to send when you call us or message us on WhatsApp, such as your number, your name and what you write. When you tap the call or WhatsApp button we record the page you tapped it on, the type and position of the button, the device type (mobile or desktop), the website you came from, and the ad campaign identifiers in the link, if there are any. That record does not contain your name or your number.
Why we use it
To answer you and provide the service, and to learn which pages bring calls and messages so we can improve our work and tie calls to the right ad.
Who it is shared with
We do not sell your data. The website and the click-recording service are hosted with Netlify, and, like any web host, its servers receive technical data such as your IP address and browser type when a page is requested. When you tap WhatsApp or the phone number you move to that app, which is covered by its own provider’s rules. Google Maps loads on the contact page only when you tap the button to show the map.
Cookies and storage
The website itself sets no cookies. When you arrive from an ad link that carries campaign identifiers, we keep those identifiers in your browser’s storage for the browsing session and for 30 days, so a call can be tied to the right ad. You can delete them in your browser settings. Fonts are hosted on the website itself.
How long we keep it
We keep messages for as long as we need them to answer you and work with you, and click records for as long as we need them to measure how the website performs.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete your data by contacting us by phone or on WhatsApp.
Data security
The website is served over an encrypted connection (HTTPS), and we do not ask you for sensitive data through it.
Children
The website is for business owners, and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Links to other websites
The website links to our clients’ websites, to WhatsApp and to Google Maps. We do not control their privacy policies.
Updates to this page
If anything above changes, we update this page and change the last updated date at the top of it. If you have a question, call us and we will answer you directly.
